Michael’s approach is to consider each patient individually, so that treatments are not generic but tailored to his client’s presentation. He often includes body work like tui na or craniosacral therapy into his acupuncture sessions. Cupping and electro-stimulation are also used for enhanced results. Michael’s training includes Chinese herbs which complement the holistic aspect of his practice.
Beyond caring for his patients, Michael finds joy in giving back to the community. He has treated patients at the Veterans Affairs Hospital, at NYU Langone Brooklyn, and at Housing Works in Brooklyn. He volunteers annually at a clinic in Guatemala, and monthly at a clinic in the Bronx supporting people recovering from addiction.
